The 11th China optical fiber sensing academic conference and industrialization forum officially opened on April 26, 2019, at the optical fiber sensing technology research center of Wuhan University of technology. Nearly 500 scientific and technological workers from universities, research institutes, and related enterprises attended the event. The conference mainly focused on applying optical fiber sensing technology in electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, construction, transportation, medical and environmental protection.
